In January 2022 Fortnum & Mason launched the Platinum Pudding Campaign, a competition to create a brand-new pudding to mark The Queen’s historic Platinum Jubilee.
Much like the creation of coronation chicken in 1953, or the creation of the Victoria Sponge before that, the aim was to see the creation of a dish that celebrates our monarch and can be enjoyed across the UK. The competition encouraged entries from across the UK countries and was open to anyone
over the age of eight.
The competition was supported by the Royal Household and the Government.
