Our courier in the UK, DPD, will not call prior to delivery. If you are concerned that the location is hard to find or you need to provide instructions regarding the location, please call customer services as soon as you have placed your order and we can pass on the instructions to the driver.
If you have ordered for UK delivery, we would recommend that you download the DPD app from the App Store or Google Play, as it will keep you informed as to the whereabouts of your order and your delivery driver, and allow you a lot more control over the receipt of your goods. If you have added a mobile phone number on the order, you will be given a one-hour time slot on the day of delivery and you can text back if the time is not convenient to instruct DPD to deliver to a neighbour, to leave the parcel in a safe place or to deliver on a different day (unless the order contains fresh food). You can set your delivery preferences and leave additional instructions.
Our courier for international deliveries, DHL, will call and/or email the recipient if further instructions or information are required to arrange the delivery or if there is an issue locating the address. We have no control over local customs procedures and cannot prevent this. We would strongly advise that you add the recipient's contact number on the delivery address when placing your order, as otherwise you may be contacted by customer services to obtain this information if later required by DHL. Rest assured that the recipient will not be informed of the name of the sender or of the contents when contacted by DHL.
